VELLORE INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGYVellore Institute of Technology (VIT) is a private deemed university located in Vellore, India. Founded in 1984 as Vellore Engineering College by G. Viswanathan, the institution offers 64 Undergraduate, 35 Postgraduate, 16 Integrated, 2 Research and 2 M.Tech Industrial Programmes.[5] It has campuses in Vellore and Chennai and sister universities in Amaravati and Bhopal. VIT consolidated its disciplines into 20 Schools of Study with the addition of the VIT Law School at its Chennai campus.[7][8] VIT implements the Fully Flexible Credit System (FFCS) which gives the students flexibility to make their own time tables by choosing the subjects and the faculties under whose guidance they want to study |

Shubhangi SwaroopLt. Shubhangi Swaroop (born 17 January 1995) in Tilhar Uttar Pradesh is the first female pilot of the Indian Navy. She is a pilot of Maritime reconnaissance aircraft in Indian Navy.Lt. Shubhangi was part of the first batch of female officers to graduate from the Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kannur in 2017.She is also a national taekwondo champion. [6] She is one amongst the Indian Navy's first batch of three women pilots for Maritime Reconnaissance (MR) missions on Dornier aircraft. |
